Channel Strategy & Niche

Clips Channel

Also called: highlights channel, podcast clips channel, cuts channel

Running clips separately keeps the main channel's catalogue coherent while giving short segments their own home and their own audience. Podcast and streaming creators use it most. A two-hour recording holds a dozen self-contained moments, and all of them would clutter the main feed. The standing rule of thumb is same audience, same channel, different audience, different channel. Clips often fail that test. The people who want a five-minute highlight rarely watch a full episode.
