Content repurposing

One long video contains a newsletter, several Shorts, a carousel, a written post and a dozen replies, and repurposing is the work of getting them out of it. The distinction that matters is between reformatting and reposting. A clip lifted from the middle of a talking-head video and dropped into a vertical feed with black bars down the sides is a repost. The same idea rewritten with its own opening, cropped properly for the frame and captioned for viewers with the sound off has been repurposed. Doing it that way takes real time, which is why it works best when you plan for it at the scripting stage and film the sections you know will travel.
