Brand Deals, Sponsorship & Business

Flat fee

Also called: fixed fee, flat rate

The standard structure for creator sponsorships. You quote a number, the brand agrees it, and the payment is identical whether the video does fifty thousand views or five hundred thousand. Both sides get predictability, and the creator carries none of the conversion risk, which is reasonable given that whether a product sells depends mostly on the brand's own page and pricing. Contracts often add performance elements on top, a bonus above a view threshold or an affiliate rate on tracked sales, and those are usually fine. Watch instead for the reverse, a clause docking the fee if the video misses a guaranteed number, since view counts are not something a creator controls.
