Google Discover

Also called: Discover feed

Discover surfaces articles, videos and pages based on what Google infers someone is interested in from their activity across Google products. Nobody searches for anything. The feed appears when you open the Google app or a new tab in Chrome on a phone, which is why it reaches people who were not looking for you.

For a creator it is off-platform traffic that can send a large burst to a page or a video and then stop just as suddenly. Fresh, clearly titled pages with a strong image do best. There is no way to target it the way you target a keyword and no reliable way to forecast it, so treat any Discover traffic as a bonus rather than a channel you can plan around.
