Impersonation comment

The account copies the channel's display name and profile picture closely enough to pass at a glance in a comment thread, then replies to genuine comments announcing a prize and directing people to WhatsApp or Telegram. The ask that follows is normally an advance fee or a crypto transfer, and the reliable tell is the creator badge YouTube puts on the real channel's comments. Studio lets you hide a user from your channel, which removes their comments and stops future ones appearing. Pin a comment telling people you never message anyone about giveaways. Report the account as well as deleting the comment, since deletion on its own leaves it free to work the next video.
