Playlist traffic
Also called: views from playlists
It sits under traffic sources in YouTube Analytics and covers views where the video was reached as part of a playlist rather than clicked on its own. Music does well here. So do tutorials in a sequence, long back catalogues someone has organised, and anything a channel has bundled into a course. A large share usually means viewers are working through a run of your uploads in one sitting, which is worth knowing before you break a series apart. One catch: views from someone browsing a playlist page are logged separately from views generated while the playlist plays through, so the figure is narrower than it sounds.
