Pick a video, take up to five seconds of it, and your own recording runs on out of the clip. The caption credits the original creator and links back to the video you clipped, so the source picks up traffic from every stitch made off it. Creators can switch stitching off for a single upload or across the whole account. YouTube's Cut option does the same job on Shorts.
