Shorts & Vertical Video

Clipper

Also called: clipping campaign, clip farming, clip account

Two different arrangements wear this label. One is a fan who likes a channel enough to cut highlights and post them on their own account. The other is paid: a creator or brand publishes a rate per thousand views and anyone can post clips against it, which is how one podcast episode ends up in a hundred places at once. The paid version buys reach and gives away control, because whoever is chasing the rate picks the most inflammatory 30 seconds they can find.
