Flights, trains, mileage, hotel, meals and airport parking all sit here, and so does anyone you need to bring. Bill it as its own line so a negotiation over your rate never quietly swallows your expenses. Two structures are common: reimbursement against receipts, or a flat allowance you keep whatever it costs. The item most creators leave off is time. A travel day at each end is two days you cannot work, so a one-day shoot at your day rate is really a three-day job.
