Also called: off the cuff, freestyle, no script
Covers vlogs, reactions, interviews, podcasts and almost every live stream. The trade is speed and naturalness against structure. Delivery sounds like a person talking, while the shape of the thing has to be found in the edit instead of on the page. A bullet outline with the opening line and the closing line written out in full is where most people settle, since those two moments are the hardest to land on the fly. Unscripted does not mean unprepared. Expect a much higher ratio of footage to finished runtime, which moves the workload out of the shoot and into the edit.
