Channel Layout

Studio keeps this under Customisation, on the tab that controls the channel home page. Three things live there. A trailer that plays for people who have not subscribed, a spotlight video for those who have, and a stack of sections underneath, up to 12 of them, holding playlists, the Shorts shelf, live streams, members-only videos or a personalised shelf. Most channels set it once and leave it that way, which is a waste, because almost everyone who reaches the home page is deciding whether to subscribe. Putting the strongest and most representative work at the top usually does more than the trailer ever does.
