Dream Screen sits in the Shorts creation flow. You type a prompt and it generates a background to perform against, or a short standalone clip you can drop into the edit. It launched with still images and now runs on Google's Veo video models, so the output moves.
Everything it makes carries a SynthID watermark and an AI disclosure. Material made with YouTube's own AI tools keeps that label permanently and cannot have it removed through a dispute in Studio.
