Faceless Channel
Also called: anonymous channel, no-face channel
Plenty of large channels have no on-camera presence at all: documentary narration over archive footage, software tutorials that are pure screen recording, animation, compilations. The appeal is obvious. It removes the on-camera work most people find hardest and makes delegation and a second channel practical. Anonymity also removes one of the easiest ways for a viewer to form an attachment, so everything else has to carry it: a distinctive voice, a research standard nobody else matches, a visual style you would recognise with the sound off. Templated narration over stock footage, varying little from one week to the next, is what YouTube's inauthentic content rules treat as ineligible for monetisation.
