Revenue share deal

Also called: rev share, profit share deal

Instead of a fee agreed up front, you take a cut of what the coverage brings in, tracked through a link or a discount code. Brands like it because they pay only for results. For a creator it is a bet on your own audience, and it can beat a flat fee comfortably or pay nothing at all. What makes one safe to sign is the small print. Who counts a sale, how long after a click it still counts, whether renewals pay, what happens when a customer refunds, and whether you get to see the dashboard yourself rather than waiting for a monthly summary. Ask for a floor as well, so a quiet month is not a free month.
