The text that travels with an episode through the RSS feed and into every app. A short summary of what it covers, who is on it, timestamps for the sections, and links for anything referenced. They matter more on the web than they look. An audio file gives a search engine nothing to read, so the notes are the only text on the page. Apps differ on how much they show and several strip formatting. Put the summary in the first two lines.
