Channel Concept

A concept is the sentence a viewer could repeat to a friend. It names a subject, a format and an audience, and it is narrow enough to rule things out. "Restoring rusted tools for people who like watching things get fixed" is a concept. "Lifestyle and vlogs" is a topic, which is why channels built on one struggle to decide what to film. The test is whether it produces ideas. If you cannot list 50 videos that would obviously belong on the channel, the concept is either too broad to have a shape or too narrow to sustain a run.
