Hero pieces are the occasional large production aimed at reaching people who have never heard of you. Hub is the recurring series your existing audience returns for. Help is the how-to material that answers a question someone typed into search, and it keeps earning long after publication.
The model is a planning aid rather than a rule about distribution. It stops a channel making only one of the three, which is the common failure: all Hero and no reason to come back, or all Help and no personality. Ratios attached to the framework come from advertising budgets and are worth ignoring.
