Channel Strategy & Niche

YouTube Automation

Also called: automated channel, outsourced channel

The name oversells the automation. In practice the owner hires writers, voice artists, editors and thumbnail designers, or hands parts of the chain to AI tools, and keeps the strategy and the revenue. These channels tend to be faceless, sit in evergreen niches picked for advertiser value, and get treated as assets to be sold later. The reputation problem comes from how hard it was marketed as passive income by people whose actual income was the course. The constraints are the same as anywhere else: the videos have to be worth watching, and YouTube's monetisation rules exclude mass-produced and repetitive output, which is precisely where the cheapest versions land.
